The Campbell Brothers Rock Gospel
The Dana Center's 30th season opens on a soul rocking note, starting with a shout out to one of the most vital cultural traditions in American Roots music history -- rock gospel music with electric steel guitar and vocal. Back by popular demand are The Campbell Brothers and their unique brand of sacred steel African American gospel music. As this devoted and rocking form of music moves from sanct...uary to concert halls and venues across the country, new fans of all ages are following at an unprecedented pace. The driving rhythm of pedal steel, lap steel and electric guitar lines swoop through the roof, and mix with gutsy gospel vocals to rock the house. If you think you can take this sitting down... well Hallelujah!!
