the dark sky sighed
and
silent scintillations of stars
cast a net enfolding you in
the universe’s arms
on the night you were
born

light from nowhere glowed on snow
and there was
silence
in the cold air
brittle with the weight of frozen light that
shone upon your entrance

this world was meant for you
and
welcomes you in its loving arms
it hold sights only your eyes
can see
beneath the textured shadows of pure white
silences amidst the heart of strife
resound only to your straining ears
only your hands can build the moments that were meant to be
only your lips can taste the sweetness of the summer wind
that whispers your name

rollicking raptures laughs splits seams downhill rides eyes closed
wait
only for your twinkling eyes
and loves whose strength only
your heart
can stand
await the spring rain of your laughter

Embrace and be embraced
by this world that cast you forth
beyond the breathing stars
in the darkness to which our souls strain
there lies for you a heart, a home, a love
here is where you were meant to be
this world was made for you
let it hold you
here
in the silence of the night
you were born
