Faculty Colloquium - Prof. Kathy Hoffman: Stieglitz: A Legacy of Light

Professor Kathy Hoffman of the Department of Fine Arts will discuss her latest research on Alfred Stieglitz, who was an American photographer, editor, writer, and gallery director. Dr. Hoffman presents a compelling portrait of his life and career from 1915 to 1946, focusing on his American works, issues of identity, and the rise of Modernism in America. Her new book, "Stieglitz: A Legacy of Light" will be published this spring by Yale University Press.
