The muse has struck

For the first time

In a long time

Too long.

The one with the golden hair

Long and cascading

Hiding all the mystery of the world

And all of its truths.

I used to think poetry

About women worthless

But I see now

It is anything but

What better thing to write about

Than the intoxicating nature

of the woman

Something man will truly never understand.

I want to understand though

I want them to know

Their innocence is grand

And their intelligence worthy.

For in this world

Of stupidity and ignorance

The diamonds in the rough

Shine bright indeed.

And I want you to know this

We few men that remain

Appreciate you and honor you.

Without being creepy or anything.
